ABOUT US

Our primary causes are helping our military Veterans and supporting pet rescue facilities. We will buy, sell, or trade any donations received to get their maximum value.  We will use all net proceeds to support a variety of good causes.  You have the option to choose from one of our charitable themes and we will put any net proceeds from your donations towards that cause.

Cardboard That Cares was started to turn unwanted or excess goods into something beneficial for our communities. We believe that Veterans are the pillars of our communities; they embody a bravery and generosity that we all admire and should learn to promote.

These heroes deserve a bit of extra help. With everything they've done for the nation and our communities, it's only right to try to give back something. With donations from Cardboard That Cares, we hope to make life more convenient and enjoyable for our local Veterans.

Continuing with our belief in helping others, we also want to improve the lives of pets and the facilities dedicated to rescuing and saving animals. Pet rescue shelters help save millions of animals each year, and we want to help them continue to help our furry friends! Our mission to help pets is personal--with our two rescue cats, we know that every animal deserves a chance to be saved. With donations to local shelters, we hope to contribute to improving the lives of rescue animals and their caretakers.

Our Basic Beliefs:

  • The card-collecting community is filled with wonderful, generous people

  • There is a tremendous amount of cards and memorabilia out there, whether it be excess, unwanted, or unfitting with a collection

  • This excess can be much better utilized--but many people don't have the time to find that value on their own

  • Card collecting is fun--for all ages--for whatever team you like or whatever interests you. Is there any better way to raise money for charity than through something that brings smiles to people's faces?

  • There is so much good to be done in the world. We just need to make it happen.
